My old home town of Adelaide, looking stunning in the early morning sun under the wing of an Airbus A320.

cool shot. How do you take a shot like this without reflection

Awesome Shot!!

ilias_1 I was just lucky, I placed the lens right up to the glass. The plane was relatively new so the window had very few flaws. If I do it again I'll use a polarising filter which should help.

I've never bothered to take a shot through a plane window. I am amazed how well this turned out. I have just driven home from Adelaide and the traffic is getting heavier every time I go there.

Excellent view and very successfully taken shot.

I'll have to remember to book a window seat next time that is NOT over the wing (as much as I love that emergency-exit leg room!) so I can get some great shots like this. Nice one.

Gav Owen emergency exit row means zero pictures, you're not even allowed to put the camera under the seat in front of you as a bag may be a tripping hazard. I was offered an exit row seat on this flight but declined and asked for something up the back, I reckon it paid off.

Nice clear shot.
