Nelson Falls

Taken near Queenstown, Western Tasmania. This is a beautiful set of falls, which was running very well when we got there as it was raining. We also had to wait for a bus load of tourists to clear the viewing platform. Not the most ideal conditions for photography but I'm happy with what I came away with.

When I was traveling around Tasmania with my mate Gav we went by the township of Hellyer and thought the beach looked good for a shoot. Had no idea there were these rockpools on the beach and turns out the tide was perfect for some big stopper action. Were we happy? .... well Hellyer!

The beautiful Liffey Falls in Tasmania has so many angles to take photos from, however Gav pointed out this great little composition low down near the water movement. I opted for a vertorama in this image to fit in more of the scene, which I was able to complete quite easily using my tilt shift lens.
